Job summary

Recruitment Hive is assisting a Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme in Canberra, seeking a Program Manager to lead the program lifecycle with a strong focus on agile practices and transparent reporting.

You will align stakeholders, manage the program backlog, budgets, risks and dependencies, and drive increments with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing & administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Program Manager.

Key Duties or the Program Manager

• Communicate the program vision, goals, roadmap, and ensure alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders;
• Work with the program office to manage the program budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and issues, and ensure timely and effective resolution;
• Establish and maintain the program backlog and prioritise and plan the program increments and iterations with project teams;
• Facilitate program reporting and proactively.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience managing large scale, complex and cross functional programs or projects with a focus on utilising agile methodologies;
• Extensive experience in delivering and applying agile methodologies;
• Experience delivering with cross functional teams across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology.
