Job summary

Zerra DC is building and operating hyperscale data centre campuses across Australia, including the Western Downs Digital Park in Queensland. We seek a senior PMO Lead to establish the programme governance for the campus, integrating the first leased building with enabling infrastructure and future facilities.

You will deliver a consolidated risk view, schedule certainty and executive dashboards for the project across multiple buildings.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in programme management or PMO leadership within major construction or infrastructure.
• Direct ownership of programme governance across multiple concurrent projects, workstreams or phases.
• Advanced master-scheduling capability (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent).
• Strong experience with executive dashboards and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Smartsheet.
• Proven leadership of programme or project-controls managers and consultants.
• Experience designing governance frameworks, stage gates and handover protocols that scale.
• Strong schedule-risk, dependency and consolidated risk-register capability.
• Data centre or multi-asset infrastructure experience highly regarded.

Western Downs Digital Park

Western Downs Digital Park is a major new hyperscale data centre campus at Kogan in Queensland. Planned across multiple delivery phases, it brings together AI-ready data centres, energy infrastructure and a purpose-built campus environment. This is an opportunity to help shape a critical new digital infrastructure asset from the ground up.

The role

The PMO Lead will establish and lead programme governance across the whole Western Downs Digital Park. You will integrate construction of the first leased building with the pre-construction programmes for enabling infrastructure and future buildings, giving the Executive Project Director one reliable view of schedule, risk, readiness and performance.

This is a senior programme‑leadership role rather than an administrative PMO appointment. You will own the campus master programme, governance framework, reporting standards, consolidated risk view and the handover approach used as future buildings move from pre‑construction into delivery.

What you will lead

• The integrated campus master programme across construction, enabling infrastructure and the future-building pipeline.
• A consistent governance framework, reporting cadence, status definitions and assurance standards across every active phase.
• Consolidated executive reporting on programme certainty, milestones, dependencies, issues and risks.
• Cross-building interfaces involving shared infrastructure, resources, approvals, power, procurement and delivery sequencing.
• The repeatable handover process as each future building moves from pre-construction into construction delivery.

What you will bring

You will be a senior programme or PMO leader who has created control and visibility across multiple concurrent projects, phases or assets. You will know how to challenge programme data, identify cross-project dependencies and turn complexity into a clear executive narrative.

• At least 12 years of experience in programme management, PMO or project-controls leadership within major construction or infrastructure.
• Direct ownership of programme governance across multiple concurrent projects, workstreams or project phases.
• Advanced Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent master-scheduling capability.
• Strong experience with executive dashboards and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Smartsheet.
• Proven leadership of programme or project-controls managers, planners and specialist consultants.
• Experience designing governance frameworks, stage gates and handover protocols that scale as new assets enter delivery.
• Strong schedule‑risk, dependency and consolidated risk‑register capability.
• Data centre, mission‑critical or comparably complex multi‑asset infrastructure experience is highly regarded.
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline; PMP, PRINCE2 or AIPM accreditation is preferred.

The opportunity

You will build the programme-management architecture for WDDP while the campus is still taking shape. The systems, standards and team you establish will determine how clearly leadership sees delivery performance as the programme expands across multiple buildings and phases.
