Zerra DC develops and operates hyperscale data centre campuses across Australia, Japan and India, delivering capacity at scale into markets being reshaped by the growth of cloud and AI. Zerra DC is part of AGP, an independently owned investor and asset manager that develops and operates real assets across energy, digital infrastructure and real estate.
Western Downs Digital Park is a major new hyperscale data centre campus at Kogan in Queensland. Planned across multiple delivery phases, it brings together AI-ready data centres, energy infrastructure and a purpose-built campus environment. This is an opportunity to help shape a critical new digital infrastructure asset from the ground up.
The Commercial Leader will own the campus-wide cost and commercial position for Western Downs Digital Park. The remit spans construction of the first leased building and commercial planning for enabling infrastructure and future buildings as they progress through design, approvals, procurement and financial close.
You will give the Executive Project Director one coherent and trustworthy view of cost and commercial exposure across the campus. This includes cost planning, forecasting, contract administration, progress claims, variations, change control, commercial risk and the direction of cost consultants and quantity-surveying support.
You will be an experienced Commercial Director, Senior Commercial Manager, cost or quantity-surveying leader who has owned the cost position on major capital projects. You will be comfortable moving between detailed commercial analysis, contractor negotiations and concise reporting for executive and investment audiences.
This role offers genuine campus-wide ownership rather than a single-package remit. You will establish the cost and commercial discipline leadership relies on as WDDP moves from one active building into a multi-phase delivery programme.
