Job summary

Ignatius Park College in Townsville, a Catholic all-boys secondary school, seeks a Program Leader – Skills and Training to develop employability and tertiary pathways for students in Years 7–12. You will coordinate Industry Placement and Work Experience and serve as the RTO Compliance Manager, ensuring smooth student transitions to further study and work.

Collaborating with parents, business, industry partners and post-secondary institutions, you will drive co-curricular and faith formation

Qualifications

• Valid working rights within Australia.
• Be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Professional qualifications in Education.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Willingness to achieve Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee programs that enhance employability and future tertiary pathways for all students.
• Oversee College Industry Placement and Work Experience programs.
• Operate as the College RTO Compliance Manager.
• Collaborate with parents, business, industry, external RTOs and post-secondary institutions to support student transitions.
