Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education Office in Beaudesert is seeking a Program Leader (Data and Performance) for McAuley College. The role drives data-informed decision-making, improves student outcomes, and leads school improvement initiatives.

You will oversee the program, supervise staff, induct new teachers, monitor outcomes, coordinate resources, and engage stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within a Catholic school context.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Be a committed, practicing Catholic, or in an ecumenical school, a committed, practicing member of one of the faith traditions represented in that ecumenical school.
• Experience in school leadership, or a role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading academic, cultural, outreach, or sporting programs.
• Proven ability to supervise and support teaching staff across a school setting.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate program logistics, resources, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated program in the school.
• Supervise teachers engaged in the program throughout the school.
• Induct new teachers within the program (or supervise the induction where it is undertaken by another experienced teacher).
• Monitor program outcomes for students and address areas of concern through appropriate interventions.
• Coordinate the work of staff engaged in delivering the designated program in line with the values and ethos of the school.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders (students, parents, school staff and other personnel) to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
• Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff, etc.
• Keep abreast of best practice in the program area through ongoing professional reading and research and providing for the professional learning of staff in line with these developments.
• Contribute to the leadership of the school through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.
• Manage financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.
