Job summary

McAuley College Beaudesert, part of Brisbane Catholic Education, seeks a Program Leader (Professional Practice) to lead high‑quality teaching and learning and to drive staff development across the college.

You will supervise teachers, induct new staff, monitor outcomes and coordinate resources while upholding the Mercy tradition and school values. Eligibility to work in Australia and a Blue Card are required.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Hold a Paid Employee Blue Card prior to commencement.
• Experience leading academic, cultural, outreach or sporting programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated program in the school.
• Supervise teachers engaged in the program throughout the school.
• Induct new teachers within the program or supervise induction.
• Monitor program outcomes and address concerns with interventions.
• Coordinate staff delivering the designated program aligned with school ethos.
• Regularly communicate with students, parents and staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Organise program activities including resources and logistics.
• Lead professional learning for staff and stay abreast of best practice.
