Job summary

ARC Disability Services Inc. in Cairns seeks a Manager of Programs to lead place-based and diverse program offerings across four service locations. You will direct quality assurance, performance management, and staff supervision to ensure high-quality, person-centred services.

You will report to the Deputy CEO, oversee budgets, training, and risk management, and contribute to continuous program development while upholding safety and collaboration values.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in program delivery, disability or community services.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and identify practical solutions.
• Strong ethical standards; NDIS knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee program delivery across multiple service locations.
• Ensure high quality and person-centred service delivery.
• Identify improvements, manage records, and drive service innovations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management for staff.
• Manage workloads, budgets, and resource approvals within delegation.
• Address conflicts, escalate where needed, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Conduct team meetings and drive ongoing training needs.
• Oversee risk management and compliance with policies and safety frameworks.
• Participate in on-call roster and support emergency management.
