Job summary

Lanson Partners in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a finance transformation project bridging Finance and the business. You will bring structure, pace and strong stakeholder management in a complex, fast-paced environment.

The role requires end-to-end delivery, governance, risk management and close collaboration with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. PRINCE2, PMP or Agile qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably in Finance Transformation or Financial Reporting.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk and dependency management skills.
• Experience working across Finance and Technology teams with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging senior leadership.
• Structured, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and keep projects moving amid change.
• Experience implementing new finance processes, systems or operating models.
• Relevant project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a key finance transformation project.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks and issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage project governance, reporting and steering committee materials with clear progress visibility.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change impacts.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and ensure clear ownership of deliverables.
• Support business readiness, change management and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Ensure projects align to the Finance Transformation strategy and business objectives.
