Downer is seeking a Program Delivery Manager to lead Project Managers across the contract, ensuring safe, timely and effective delivery of lifecycle, modification and minor works.

You will report to the Facilities Director, build an integrated portfolio plan, establish governance, manage budgets and risks, and coordinate handovers with lessons learned. This role spans health and education assets in Australia, offering a broad scope and opportunities to influence delivery outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive project management experience across facilities modifications, lifecycle works, minor works, construction or a comparable complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading Project Managers or multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing a portfolio of concurrent projects.
• Advanced capability in portfolio planning, prioritisation, integrated scheduling, resource coordination, governance, risk, change control and performance reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience managing contractors, consultants and delivery partners.
• A relevant tertiary or formal project management qualification, supported by substantial industry experience. Engineering, construction or facilities management qualifications will be highly regarded.

Aufgaben

• Lead, support and coordinate Project Managers across the contract project portfolio, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountabilities.
• Maintain an integrated portfolio plan covering milestones, dependencies, resources and the forward pipeline of lifecycle, modification and minor works.
• Establish consistent project governance, controls, reporting and assurance, with clear oversight of budgets, forecasts, risks, issues and changes.
• Ensure projects are appropriately scoped, approved, resourced and delivered safely, on time, within scope, to the required quality and within approved budgets.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships, coordinate operational readiness and change, and ensure completed works are formally handed over with lessons learned captured.
