Job summary

Novita in Kadina seeks a proactive leader to coordinate high-quality supports that enable people to thrive. You will lead a team and partner with families, carers and service partners to deliver person-centred plans and ensure continuous improvement.

The role focuses on rosters, compliance, incident management and documentation, while fostering community connections and driving service development to benefit regional communities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Disability Studies, Community Development, Education or related field, or Diploma with substantial experience.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR.
  • SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.

The Role

In this leadership position, you’ll play a key part in coordinating high-quality supports that genuinely support people to thrive.



  • Lead, coordinate and deliver Individualised high-quality support

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers and service partners

  • Develop person-centred support plans and ensure goals are regularly reviewed

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver outstanding outcomes

  • Manage rosters, shift coverage and timesheet approvals to maintain service continuity

  • Oversee program quality, safety and compliance, including incident management

  • Maintain accurate documentation, case notes and client records

  • Contribute to program development by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement

  • Foster community partnerships that create meaningful opportunities and connections for participants


Skills and Experience

You’ll have the practical know-how and interpersonal strengths to lead with confidence and deliver quality services.


You will demonstrate:



  • Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches

  • Ability to manage risk, incidents, and service compliance

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Proficiency in digital systems and documentation processes

  • Capacity to lead teams through change and support continuous improvement


Education & Qualifications

You’ll meet the essential requirements to support safe, effective service delivery.


You will hold:



  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Disability Studies, Community Development, Education, or related field), OR Diploma in Community Services combined with substantial relevant experience, OR Relevant Industry Experience consistent with the SCHADS Level 5 qualification expectation

  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR

  • Current South Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2)

  • Current SA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
