Job summary

Victoria Tourism Industry Council in Melbourne is seeking a skilled coordinator to drive industry-leading programs and events that bolster Victoria's visitor economy. Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, you will work with participants, sponsors, judges, industry leaders and stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered seamlessly and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs, projects and/or events.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A customer-focused mindset with stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in tourism, membership, association, events or not-for-profit sectors (highly regarded).
• Experience with CRM systems and event management platforms (desirable).

Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating industry-leading programs and events that support and strengthen Victoria's visitor economy. You'll work closely with participants, sponsors, judges, industry leaders and stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered seamlessly and to an exceptional standard.

Key responsibilities

Support the delivery of the Victorian Tourism Awards

Manage program logistics, communications and stakeholder engagement

Coordinate judges, sponsors, partners and participants

Assist with member events, networking functions and industry forums

Support the delivery of new membership and industry initiatives

About you
