Job summary

Cummins in Carole Park, QLD, is seeking a Trades Assistant to join our Master Rebuild Centre. The role involves operating machines and production equipment in a manufacturing setting, following standard work and safety procedures to meet quality and productivity targets.

You will work with team members to maintain a clean, safe workspace, complete required training, and participate in an overtime regime with penalties for hours over 38 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated equipment to meet production, quality, and cycle time targets.
• Follow standard work, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform inspections and identify non-conforming material; escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and perform basic equipment care.
• Collaborate with team and support staff to meet production goals.
• Communicate effectively and complete required training.
• Identify, report, and address safety and environmental hazards; use PPE.
