Job summary

Cummins in Carole Park, QLD, is seeking a Trades Assistant to join our Master Rebuild Centre. The role involves operating machines and production equipment in a manufacturing setting, following standard work and safety procedures to meet quality and productivity targets.

You will work with team members to maintain a clean, safe workspace, complete required training, and participate in an overtime regime with penalties for hours over 38 per week.

• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.

We are looking for a talented Trades Assistant to join our high performing team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, QLD.

In this role you will operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Follow standard work, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to meet production, quality, and cycle time targets.
• Perform inspections, identify non‑conforming material, and elevate issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and complete basic equipment care.
• Work collaboratively with team members and support staff to meet production goals.
• Communicate effectively and complete required training.
• Identify, report, and address safety and environmental hazards; use required PPE.
• Remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed.

Additional Information

• Full Time / 38 hours per week
• Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
• All your Safety equipment / PPE / Uniforms are provided and laundered
• Domestic Relocation may be offered for the right candidate
• Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred)

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Any related mechanical work experience
