Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Carole Park, QLD is seeking a Diesel Workshop Supervisor to lead engine repairs and rebuilds in a service workshop, coaching less experienced technicians and ensuring quality work.

The role involves diagnostics, parts coordination, and maintaining safety standards while driving customer satisfaction with timely service. On-site with rotational shifts; relocation potential for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician with Cert III is required.
• Advanced workshop/field service experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of engine products is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostics and complete complex repairs.
• Maintain productive customer relations and ensure prompt attention to customer needs.
• Coach junior technicians and provide work direction as needed.
• Manage parts and spares inventory.
• Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor.
• Complete service documentation and warranty claims.
• Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customers.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and tools.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
