Job summary

Cummins invites applications for a Mechanical Technician to join the Brisbane Master Rebuild Centre. The role focuses on remanufacturing high-horsepower diesel engines (19L–78L) with state-of-the-art tooling and an Electronic Process Documentation System.

Start in day shift (6am–2pm) with potential move to afternoon later. You will work in a safety-conscious environment, adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and participate in training to support continuous improvement and career

Qualifications

• Open to all mechanical related trade qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in engine assembly – heavy equipment desirable.
• Ability to consistently generate high-quality work.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work in a structured team environment.

Responsibilities

• Remanufacture high horsepower diesel engines for mining customers.
• Work as part of a skilled team to deliver 'As New' reconditioned engines.
• Be supported by a state-of-the-art Electronic Process Documentation System.
