Job summary

McCormick is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Palmwoods site on the Sunshine Coast. You will lead a shift, oversee packaging operations, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements to support our global FMCG manufacturing site.

The role focuses on afternoon shift responsibilities, team leadership, and continuous improvement within a collaborative, inclusive culture that values innovation and professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing with 1+ year in supervision.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions; excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in TPM systems.
• Ability to complete and coach RCA activities.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our packaging team the Operations Manager based at our Palmwoods site on the Sunshine Coast.

This position requires the Supervisor to work primarily on the afternoon shift roster.

About The Role

As a Production Supervisor at McCormick, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality are maintained.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Team Leadership: Motivate and lead a team of production operators, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Process Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.

About You

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in TPM systems.
• Ability to complete and coach RCA activities.
