Job summary

Stanmore Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor for Poitrel Mine, a site-based role on a 7/7 roster. You will lead a crew of Operators to safely execute the mine plan and deliver production targets, while mentoring your team and collaborating with other departments to optimise performance.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will uphold safety standards, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to a strong field presence with a focus on people development and operational

Qualifications

• Experience in an open cut mining environment.
• Proven leadership capability or experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team.
• Good understanding of systems and processes ( MineStar desirable ).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.

Responsibilities

• Leading a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan.
• Managing people and equipment to deliver production targets.
• Providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team.
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across production activities.
• Working closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes.
• Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with your crew.
• Complying with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements.
• Contributing to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes.
