Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM Animal Nutrition) seeks a Production (Warehouse) Supervisor for the Kansas City, KS facility. The role covers packaging, distribution and daily plant operations with a strong emphasis on safety and cost control.

You will lead a hands-on team, coordinate with quality and sales, and ensure adherence to food-safety programs while driving improvements across manufacturing and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and 1 – 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership through change management; exhibits the 11 ADM leader skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to present material with energy to motivate and influence people.
• Computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• History of working safely and a reputation for promoting safety improvements.
• Related industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Involves hands-on daily presence within the facility handling packaging, distribution, warehouse and delivery issues.
• Help implement food safety, sanitation and quality programs with quality technicians.
• Identify more efficient ways to manufacture, ship and control costs.
• Assist Plant Manager with safety training programs and daily operations.
• Monitor workplace safety and personnel concerns; back up Superintendent when needed.
• Respond to customer complaints and coordinate with sales on issues.
