Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company seeks a Quality and Food Safety Campus Manager for Sabetha, KS to lead QFS systems and ensure compliance with cGMP, GFSI, and company policies. You will direct teams to make quality decisions and manage CAPA during process upsets.

The role requires a BS in Feed Science or related field with 5+ years in food/feed quality, plus HACCP/HARPC/GFSI/PCQI training and strong leadership. This position supports audits and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Feed Science or related field with 5+ years quality experience in feed/food.
• Experience in facilities with FSSC 22000 certification.
• Trained in Preventive Controls for Animal Food.
• HACCP/HARPC/GFSI/PCQI trained.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and drive change within cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical problem solving/root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own Quality and Food Safety systems and performances for facility and warehouses; oversee GFSI and PRP programs.
• Lead a team to maintain QFS requirements across manufacturing and supply chain; ensure compliance with policies, cGMP, GFSI, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with operations, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to meet quality and safety objectives.
• Own Food Safety Plans, Food Defense plans, and risk/hazard assessments.
• Ensure monitoring of performance metrics and communication of results to improve areas of focus.
• Drive continuous improvement activities and manage CAPA processes.
• Serve as point of contact for audits and corrective actions; verify effectiveness.
• Ensure staff training on quality and food safety processes.
