Outstanding Opportunity for a Skilled Production Supervisor.

My client is an Award Winning Heavy Machinery Equipment Manufacturer and employer of choice based in Wetherill Park.

The business prides itself on doing most things inhouse and has multiple complex production cells.

Right now, they have an opportunity for a skilled production supervisor -coatings and paint to join the team in a newly created day shift role (7.30am -3.30pm M-F). The company has several coatings applications including passivation tanks, spray booth and manual painting of structural steel and more advanced polymer/rubber lining applications all of which are non continuous in nature.

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing a team of 8-10 staff across the various coating lines

Achieving programmed production targets and working closely with other production supervisors to ensure customer orders are manufactured to plan.

Driving corporate safety and quality initiatives with the team. Seeking feedback and implementing continuous improvement programs.

Above all creating a harmonious and productive work environment.

We are looking for a skilled production supervisor or team leader looking to advance with at least 5 years experience managing similar sized teams in a blue collar skilled manufacturing environment. Experience with the application of industrial coatings, painting of structural steel and the application of polymeric/rubber coatings or galvanising is likely to give you a distinct advantage.

Leadership, communication and collaboration skills are essential
