Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for a windows, screens and doors manufacturing operation in Coffs Harbour, NSW. You will lead a production team, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and drive Lean improvements across a 38-hour week with overtime as needed.

You should bring strong leadership, manufacturing supervision experience, and a commitment to safety and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production supervision or manufacturing leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production, ensuring quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Lead a Lean production line and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage labour requirements and production workflows.
• Identify and resolve production issues, including stock and staffing shortages.
• Manage team performance, training and development.
• Conduct timecard audits and maintain staff performance records.
• Ensure tools, machinery and workstations are safe and properly maintained.
• Liaise with warehouse, logistics, purchasing and maintenance teams.
• Manage stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
• Monitor production, quality and maintenance requirements.
• Oversee end-of-day shutdown and lock-up procedures.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a windows, screens and doors manufacturing production line.
You will lead the production team, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety while meeting production targets and deadlines.
Windows and doors manufacturing experience is preferred, however, candidates with strong manufacturing supervision experience will also be considered. This is a full-time 38-hour-per-week position, with overtime required when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a production supervision or manufacturing leadership role
• Windows and doors manufacturing experience highly desirable
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and team development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with M1 Software and Smartsheet advantageous
• Unrestricted driver's licence – mandatory
• White Card, First Aid and Dogging Licence desirable
