You will provide clear leadership, mentor staff, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain efficient production while adhering to community and environmental standards. The role offers a 7/7 roster and full-time employment.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong passion for mining and a commitment to safety, people and operational excellence?

Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our high-performing team at Caval Ridge Mine.

As a key member of the Caval Ridge team, you will provide strong operational and safety leadership to the production crew, ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive safety culture, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and ensuring compliance with community and environmental standards.

Roster: 7/7 | Location: Caval Ridge Mine, QLD | Employment Type: Full Time

As the Production Supervisor you will:

• Champion for all safety management plans & procedures
• Effectively communicate with other departments
• Leadership and development of crew
• Ensure production targets are met
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift prestart talks
• Conduct statutory inspections of an open cut operation

About you

• Experience in leading a high performance team
• Commitment to HSEC
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fluid/dynamic environment
• Ability to work in an adaptive team
• Experience with computer-based data and management tools (e.g. Infomine)
