Job summary

SURTECO Australia is seeking a Production Planner to join our Arndell Park-based Supply Chain team. You will develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand while optimising capacity, efficiency, yield and inventory.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work with production, sales and management to align schedules with demand and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environments, preferably in planning/scheduling.
• ERP/MRP experience, Movex desirable.
• Commercially minded with strong collaboration across stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute production plans for the Arndell Park manufacturing plant to meet demand and delivery deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, maximise yield, reduce waste and minimise downtime.
• Monitor production capacity, material availability, machinery and resource requirements.
• Analyse customer orders, forecasts and stock levels to determine production priorities and scheduling requirements.
• Identify and resolve planning issues including material shortages and scheduling conflicts.
