Job summary

Dad & Dave's Brewing is seeking a reliable Production & Packaging Hand to join our team across two production sites. You will help pack finished products, operate packaging equipment, and ensure quality checks, labeling, and safe handling of materials.

This hands-on role requires a current LF forklift license, experience in beverage or food manufacturing, and a commitment to HACCP and workplace safety. You will work both independently and with a team to keep our production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• LF forklift license is essential.
• Experience in beverage production or food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with HACCP or food safety systems highly regarded.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and reliability; willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Job description

Dad & Dave's Brewing is a growing contract beverage manufacturer producing beer, RTDs, soft drinks, kombucha, energy drinks and functional beverages for some of Australia's fastest-growing brands.

We're looking for a reliable and hard-working Production & Packaging Hand to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working across our two production sites, primarily assisting with the packaging of finished products. You'll work as part of our production team to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing finished products into cartons and onto pallets.


• Operating and assisting with packaging equipment.


• Labelling, date coding and carrying out quality checks.


• Wrapping and preparing pallets for storage and dispatch.


• Loading, unloading and moving stock using a forklift.


• Receiving and storing raw materials and packaging.


• General warehouse and production duties.


• Cleaning and maintaining production and warehouse areas.


• Following HACCP, food safety and workplace safety procedures.


• Working across our two production facilities as required.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A current Forklift (LF) License – Essential.


• Experience in beverage production, breweries, food manufacturing, warehousing or other manufacturing environments (preferred).


• Experience working within HACCP or food safety systems (highly regarded).


• A current driver's license and reliable transport.


• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
