Job summary

Good Drinks Australia is seeking an Assistant Packaging Supervisor to lead our packaging floor and drive Small Pack and Keg line performance. You’ll coach 8–10 staff, coordinate with Brewing, Maintenance, Quality and Warehouse, and uphold safety, quality and 5S standards.

The role follows a 3-week rotating roster across day, afternoon and night shifts, with a focus on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing or production operations (FMCG, beverage or brewing preferred).
• 1+ years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of HACCP, WQA, GMP and OH&S procedures.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the process/product knowledge to match (or the ability to learn quickly).
• Leadership, communication and hands-on problem-solving, with a safety-conscious, continuous-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of 8-10 packaging staff, including training, performance evaluation and coaching.
• Executing weekly production plans across Small Pack and Keg lines to meet output, quality and efficiency targets.
• Driving line performance optimisation and monitoring operational scorecard KPIs.
• Managing administrative systems (NetSuite, ELMO) and standard work documentation, including changeovers, checklists and handovers.
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP, WQA, GMP and OH&S procedures, and maintaining 5S cleanliness standards.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimise schedules, and escalating maintenance issues as needed.
• Responding to incidents or near-misses and ensuring appropriate action is taken.

We're looking for a hands-on leader to help drive our packaging operation forward.
