Optiver’s Sydney office seeks a Production Operations Engineer to maintain and scale our low-latency trading systems. You will deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize trading infrastructure to enhance reliability and performance.

Collaborate with traders, development, and operations to automate processes and support growth across APAC and beyond, ensuring robust, scalable production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale distributed systems in Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or similar languages for automation.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and operational reliability practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise to high-frequency trading floors; troubleshoot incidents in a fast-paced setting.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize proprietary trading applications for stability and performance.
