Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Critical Engineering APAC in Sydney. You will design, build and operate components of the APAC platform, writing production-grade C++ for real-time, low-latency services.

You will set technical direction and collaborate across domains to deliver resilient trading systems. The role requires 5+ years in production software, strong CS fundamentals, Linux proficiency, and experience with distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in object-oriented programming with C++ (or Java/C# with intent to work in C++).
• 5+ years building and operating production software systems.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
