Job summary

Lipa Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking experienced Production Operators in New South Wales for a hands-on role in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will operate, calibrate and maintain equipment for compressing tablets, capsules, liquids and powders, with day, afternoon and night shifts as we move toward 24/7 operations.

Applicants should have relevant pharma/manufacturing experience, be reliable and detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team while adhering to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical/FMCG/manufacturing industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and basic numeracy/literacy skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, regulated setting with potential dust exposure.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment following SOPs.
• Dismantle, clean and set up machinery and equipment.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain documentation.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, and cleaning.
• Maintain GMP compliance and support continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and assist during changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Production Operators with a background in:

• Compressing (tablet and hard-shell capsule production)
• Dispensing, Granulation and Blending process
• Liquids, Powders and Bottles

This is a hands-on role, working in a fast-paced cleanroom environment, operating equipment and performing quality checks to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

We currently have multiple roles available across various shift include day, afternoon and night, as we transition to 24/7 12 hour shifts successful candidates must be willing to change to 12 hour day or night shifts.

Depending on your skills and experience (Level 1 to Level 1C as per the Employee Collective Agreement) potential earnings inc. shift allowances range from $64,000 - $80,000 for day shift and $77,000 - $97,000 for night shift. Please note these earnings relate to our 12-hour shifts, overtime and superannuation are in addition to.
