Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Production Plant Operator to join a Townsville asphalt plant, located in Townsville, Queensland. The role focuses on running the plant, operating mobile equipment and ensuring product quality from batch to dispatch.

It offers long-term potential with a pathway to temp-perm conversion, and involves rotating day and night shifts, including weekends. You will work closely with the laboratory and production team, performing routine maintenance and basic stock control while

Qualifications

• Previous plant, production, batching or asphalt experience (preferred).
• Front End Loader experience and RII (essential).
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends.
• Forklift, EWP or Confined Space ticket (highly regarded).

Responsibilities
