Job summary

Workpac Group is seeking a production-focused Plant Operator to assist with running an asphalt plant near Townsville.

You will produce, allocate and dispatch asphalt products, monitor plant performance, and maintain equipment. Responsibilities include operating a front end loader, bobcat and forklift, dispatching trucks, basic stock control, and collaborating with the lab and production team to meet quality standards. A current driver licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, production, batching or asphalt as preferred.
• Front End Loader experience and RII essential.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport required.
• Forklift, EWP or Confined Space ticket highly regarded.

We are seeking a production-focused Plant Operator to assist with the running of an asphalt plant local to Townsville.

What You Will Be Doing

Produce, allocate and dispatch asphalt product to meet production and quality requirements.

Monitor and conduct routine maintenance of the asphalt production plant and associated equipment.

Operate mobile plant including front end loader, bobcat, and forklift.

Dispatch and loading of trucks with above machinery

Basic administration including stock control

Work closely with the laboratory and production team

What You Will Need

Previous plant, production, batching or asphalt experience (preferred)

Front End Loader experience and RII (essential)

Current Driver Licence and reliable transport

Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety

Forklift, EWP or Confined Space ticket (highly regarded)
