Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Yatala, QLD to recruit two Production Operators for permanent roles. You will operate production machinery, batch and weigh materials, and support quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Day and afternoon shifts are available, with forklift operation opportunities and ongoing safety training. The position offers a stable Monday–Friday roster and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments preferred.

• Comfortable with dusty powder-based environments and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and assist with troubleshooting.
• Batch and weigh raw materials to production specifications.
• Bag finished products and palletize for dispatch.
• Perform quality checks and document production data.
• Operate counterbalance forklifts (day shift required; training for afternoon).
• Support general warehouse and production duties.
• Manual handling of up to 25kg throughout shifts.

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Shifts Available: Day Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm | Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Pay Rates: Day Shift: $33.60/hr | Afternoon Shift: $37.73/hr

About the Role

Join a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality plant health products to the agricultural industry, including fertilisers, soil conditioners, and biostimulants. We're seeking two Production Operators to join the team in permanent positions. This hands-on role combines machine operation, batching, forklift operation, quality checks, and general production duties within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. About You & Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and assist with machine troubleshooting
• Batch and weigh raw materials to production specifications
• Bag finished products and prepare pallets for dispatch
• Complete quality checks and production documentation accurately
• Operate counterbalance forklifts to move raw materials and finished stock (essential for day shift, highly regarded for afternoon shift)
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties
• Perform regular manual handling of up to 25kg throughout the shift
• Maintain high standards of workplace safety, housekeeping and quality
• Previous experience within chemical, industrial or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
• Current Forklift Licence highly regarded (required for day shift; training available for the right afternoon shift candidate)
• Comfortable working in a dusty powder-based manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
• Reliable, safety-focused and committed to producing quality work
