Job summary

Fletcher Building Limited's Iplex Bohle site is seeking a Production Operator to operate and maintain our production machinery, ensuring high-quality output.

This permanent role offers 42 hours per week with a rotating day/night roster, ongoing training, and clear career development within a safety-first environment. You should bring basic mechanical aptitude, a detail-oriented mindset, and a willingness to work in a diverse team. Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.

In this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our production machinery so we can produce high-quality product. You will require some level of mechanical aptitude, passionate about safety and be proud to be producing products that our customers love, you will ideally have experience in a batch production environment.

About the Candidate

Attention to detail is a must so that we can ensure accuracy with reporting and output, you will also be comfortable working a roster that is a mixture of days and nights on a rotating system. You will be part of an experienced but supportive team that values safety, quality, development, and good team engagement. This permanent role offers stability and growth, with continued feedback to ensure success in the position.

• Previous exposure to working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude so you can trouble short (should it be required)
• You are an advocate for producing high-quality products in a time efficient manner
• Proud to work in a safety-first environment, participating in all toolbox talks
• Background in maintaining production data records and abnormalities
• Understand how to work in a complex & fast paced environment
• Great personality, eager to learn and likes working in a diverse culture.
• Holding a Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential
