Job summary

Our client is seeking reliable Manufacturing Technicians to join their Campbellfield-based team in a full-time role with a view to permanency. Shift runs Monday to Thursday from 4:30am to 2:30pm, offering a four-day workweek, 38 hours plus overtime.

Responsibilities include grinding, sanding and finishing polyurethane products, preparing materials, monitoring machines, and performing quality checks while using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • Competent with basic hand/power tools and measuring devices.
  • Experience in manufacturing or machine operating environments.
  • Plastics, rubber or technical manufacturing experience viewed favourably.
  • Mechanically minded with willingness to learn specialised machinery.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling.
  • Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance.

Our client is an Australian industry leader in the manufacturing of screen media for the mining and mineral processing industries. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking reliable and hands on Manufacturing Technicians to join the Manufacturing team based in Campbellfield.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering full time hours with a genuine view to permanency for the right person.

Shift:

Monday to Thursday

4:30am-2:30pm

(FOUR day work week | 38 hours + OT available)

Requirements:
  • Competent with basic hand/power tools (i.e. grinders) and measuring devices
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production or machine operating environments
  • Plastics, rubber or technical manufacturing experience will be viewed favourably
  • Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn specialised machinery
  • Comfortable working in a hands on manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance

This role would suit someone with a manufacturing, production, machine operating, plastics, rubber or injection moulding background who is looking to develop within a specialised area of manufacturing.
