Job summary

Thiess is seeking experienced Dozer Operators for Curragh North, QLD. You will operate dozers and ancillary equipment to support safe, productive mining operations, rotating 7/7 day/night roster. A strong safety mindset and team-focused attitude are essential to success.

Requirements include 12+ months on dozers in open cut coal, CAT D10/D11 experience preferred, current licence, Standard 11, and MineStar exposure. Competitive rosters and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating dozers in an open cut coal mining environment.
• Experience with CAT tracked dozers, ideally D10 and D11.
• Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Current Standard 11.
• Experience with CAT MineStar technologies, including Command for Haulage, Fleet and/or Terrain.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Dozer Operator with a commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Dozer Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North.

As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll support safe and efficient production by operating dozers and other ancillary equipment while contributing to high-performing mining operations.

Roster: 7/7 Day Night Rotating | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time

As a Dozer Operator, you will:

• Operate dozers and ancillary equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.

You’ll bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a commitment to operating safely and efficiently in a dynamic mining environment. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Minimum 12 months’ experience operating dozers in an open cut coal mining environment.
