Job summary

Allied Pinnacle Pty in Kensington, Melbourne, is seeking a Packing Operator to ensure the packing line runs efficiently and safely. You will monitor inventory, operate packing and palletising equipment, and contribute to quality and hygiene standards while supporting site objectives.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year forklift experience, be familiar with RF scanners, and have knowledge of D365 ERP and HACCP guidelines.

Job description

Allied Pinnacle is a leading milling, manufacturing and distributor of flour-based food products including bakery products, flour premixes and food ingredients supplied to our retail, foodservice and commercial customers. Our heritage encompasses more than 100 years of flour milling and food ingredient expertise.

An opportunity currently exists for a Packing Operator based at our Kensington Site on a permanent, full time basis. The purpose of this position is to ensure the packing function is operated effectively in order to support site objectives. Ensuring inventory is managed and equipment is thoroughly cleaned in accordance with cleaning schedule.

Key accountabilities include:

• Comply with all relevant legislative requirements, as well as company and site policies, procedures and reasonable instructions.
• Actively contribute to and promote a safety culture supporting the business to maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow site-specific quality procedures to ensure standard are met.
• Uphold and comply with Quality, GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensure products are packed according to specified product, quantity and quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, transport operatives and site visitors.

The successful applicant will possess:

• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts (including blocked and rack stacking pallets).
• Strong proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Experience with D365 is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Food Safety standards and HACCP guidelines.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work across Day, Afternoon and Night shift
