Job summary

Allied Pinnacle Pty is seeking a proactive Laminator Operator to join our Altona site on a full-time basis. You will safely set up, operate and maintain lamination machinery while meeting quality standards, production deadlines and customer specifications.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate in Food Safety and an appropriate First Aid certificate, have good numeracy and literacy skills, clear English communication, and prior FMCG experience in Food & Beverage.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Food Safety is required or preferred.
• First Aid Certificate Level 2 or higher is required.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
• Clear and confident English communication skills.
• Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally Food & Beverage.

Responsibilities

• Place or deposit product onto the production line.
• Mix and prepare ingredients according to recipe instructions, ensuring the end product meets specifications.
• Maintain layer integrity by ensuring precise fat-to-dough ratios and layer distribution as per process specification sheets.
• Complete 100% of pre-start food safety checks, ensuring no chemical residues from sanitation remain on rollers, belts or reduction gears.
• Execute allergen washdowns and line clearing procedures when transitioning between recipes.
• Minimise downtime by achieving 95% or higher machine uptime through proactive mechanical adjustments and synchronised line speeds.
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, procedures and legislation.
• Regularly inspect and report OHS hazards, incidents or near misses in the work area.
• Clean up spills immediately in accordance with procedures.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, safety-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Certificate in Food Safety.
• First Aid Certificate Level 2 or above.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Clear and confident English communication skills.
• Previous experience in an FMCG environment, ideally within the Food & Beverage industry.
