Job summary

Dowell Windows in Smithfield, NSW, is seeking a Production & Operations Support professional to drive continuous improvement and support day-to-day manufacturing activities. You will report to the Manufacturing Manager and contribute to scheduling, service and operational tasks across the site.

This role requires experience in manufacturing environments, proficiency with ERP (Oracle preferred), and strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Production & Operations Support or similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, glazing, or operational environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience supporting ERP or business systems, preferably Oracle.
• Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of site safety processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and document improved processes.
• Identify inefficiencies with site leaders and implement practical improvements.
• Maintain data accuracy and support KPI tracking and reporting.
• Serve as contact for operational issues, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Support Oracle/ERP users and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide day-to-day support across manufacturing, scheduling, service and admin.
