Job summary

Jones Brothers Family Farm in Bathurst, NSW seeks a hands-on operator to run production equipment as part of the packing team. You will monitor machinery, respond to issues, and perform basic maintenance to keep the line moving.

This role aligns with a 5-day week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, and involves lifting items up to 15kg. Training is provided by experienced staff to develop your mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

• Comfortable working with production equipment and willing to learn how it works.

Job description

You will operate production equipment as part of our Bathurst based packing team, keeping an eye on how machinery is running and responding when something isn't right. When equipment stops or faults, you'll use basic problem-solving to work out what's going on - checking the obvious things, clearing simple faults, and carrying out basic maintenance tasks to keep the line moving. Full training will be provided on our equipment, and you'll be supported by experienced staff. This role will involve lifting items weighing up to 15kg, highlighting the need for physical fitness and safety awareness.

The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm
