Job summary

Jones Brothers Family Farm in Bathurst, NSW seeks a hands-on operator to run production equipment as part of the packing team. You will monitor machinery, respond to issues, and perform basic maintenance to keep the line moving.

This role aligns with a 5-day week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, and involves lifting items up to 15kg. Training is provided by experienced staff to develop your mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on problem-solving experience (trade background, farm/machinery experience, or just a knack for figuring things out).
• Comfortable working with production equipment and willing to learn how it works.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment as part of the packing team.
• Monitor machinery operation and respond to issues.
• Use basic problem-solving to diagnose equipment faults.
• Clear simple faults and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
• Perform repetitive lifting of items up to 15kg.
• Stay on your feet through a fast-paced shift.
