Job summary

Rhino-Rack is seeking a Product Assistant to support the Category and Product team across the full product lifecycle, from research and planning through to launch and ongoing management.

You will coordinate with engineering, marketing, sales and operations to bring new products to market, maintain accurate product data, and assist with budgeting and lifecycle activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Line Managers with product strategy, market research and pricing.
• Assist with go-to-market activities including release briefs and launch documentation.

• Administer the digital NPD workflow system and ensure product data is accurate.
• Maintain product data including specifications, pricing and availability.
• Support product lifecycle activities from development to end-of-life processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders to keep timelines and requirements aligned.
• Assist with budgeting and forecast management to meet targets.
• Analyze product performance to identify opportunities for quality and profitability improvements.

Responsibilities
As our Product Assistant, you will support the Category and Product team across the full product lifecycle, from research and planning through to launch and ongoing product management. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Product Line Managers with product strategy, market research, product positioning, pricing and promotional planning.
• Assisting with go-to-market activities, including preparing Product Release Briefs, New Line Product forms and launch documentation.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales and operations to help bring new products to market.
• Supporting the administration of the digital NPD workflow system and ensuring product information is accurate and up to date.
• Maintaining product data, including specifications, pricing, availability and key documentation.
• Assisting with product lifecycle activities, including product development, launch support, post-launch review and end-of-life processes.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product updates, timelines and requirements are clearly understood.
• Supporting product budget and forecast management to help ensure products meet financial and commercial targets.
• Monitoring product performance and assisting with analysis to identify opportunities to improve product quality, profitability and customer outcomes.

• Experience working with product data, product administration, ERP systems, NPD workflows or similar systems would be highly regarded.
• Previous exposure to product launches, go-to-market planning, marketing support or product lifecycle activities would be beneficial.
