You will assist with daily production, learn to monitor equipment, handle materials, and support both manual and automated processes in a dusty environment. Ongoing temporary work with potential for permanency is available.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) is essential.

About the Position

Smith & Co is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Labourers with Forklift Licences to join an established manufacturing and production facility in Carbrook, QLD.

Our client specialises in processing sands and manufacturing packaged building materials, including concrete and mortar products used across the construction, mining and other industries.

This is a hands‑on position combining general production labouring, forklift operation and packaging duties. You'll be working on a sand bagging line, assisting with both manual and automated production processes while learning how to operate and monitor production equipment.

With ongoing work available and the opportunity to transition into permanent employment, this role is ideal for candidates seeking stability in the manufacturing industry.

• Willingness to learn how to operate production and packaging machinery
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing employment
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety procedures
• Available to work the required day or afternoon shift
• Ability to work in a dusty manufacturing environment while following required safety precautions

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must be willing to complete a drug test prior to commencement
• Required to undergo a respirator fit test
• Must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to ensure a proper fit
• Comfortable wearing respiratory protection for designated tasks when required
