Job summary

Nutrien Laverton North is looking for a hands-on Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You’ll blend, package and distribute essential plant nutrition and crop protection products while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency.

You’ll work morning and afternoon rotational shifts, operate automated lines, complete paperwork, and support GMP practices in a safety-first culture. You’ll help Nutrien feed the future and support Australian farmers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (agricultural or chemical industry preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Available to work morning and afternoon rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging lines and plant equipment.
• Complete manufacturing documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Support quality control processes for end-use products and packaging.
• Monitor safe work practices and promote a safety-first culture.
• Wrap, strap, and stage stock on pallets for correct loading and dispatch.
• Label and cap drums used in production.
• Fill products into designated pack sizes using appropriate machinery.
• Conduct stock counts and complete associated paperwork as required.
• Assist with GMP, including cleaning and line clearances.
• Perform other reasonable duties to support the success of the production facility.
• Operate forklifts and walkie stackers to move and stage stock for production and warehousing.

What You'll Do:

Based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Laverton North, you'll help produce and distribute essential plant nutrition, crop protection and agricultural products that support Australian farmers. Working as part of a close-knit production team, you'll play a hands-on role in blending, packaging and preparing products while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
