Job summary

Permanser Consulting is partnering with a Melbourne-based garment producer to hire a Production Coordinator for schoolwear. You will manage a high volume of production orders and pre-production samples, coordinating across our supplier base in China and Vietnam to keep milestones on track.

You will review production documentation, monitor timelines, and build strong relationships with overseas suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garment production.
• Direct experience in schoolwear or uniform manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end garment production lifecycle.
• Experience managing pre-production samples and bulk production orders.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing multiple orders and competing deadlines.
• Clear, calm and proactive communication style.
• Fluent Chinese or Vietnamese would be highly regarded.
