Job summary

Seed Heritage in Melbourne is seeking a Production Coordinator for our Children's Apparel team, reporting to the Production Manager. You will drive development from design handover through to fitting, QC and production handover, building strong supplier relationships and ensuring products meet safety, quality and margin targets.

The role requires 3+ years in production or quality control, offshore production experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production or quality control.
• Experience with offshore production.
• Ability to manage supplier tech packs and measurements.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Must hold a valid working with children check.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical development of new styles from design handover to production.
• Prepare supplier tech packs, specifications, measurements, grading and labelling requirements.
• Fit and measure samples and document fitting comments.
• Negotiate costs with offshore suppliers to meet target margins and delivery dates.
• Manage seasonal production schedules and critical path deadlines.
• Coordinate fabric, trims, lab dip and strike-off approvals and testing.
• Inspect shipments for fit, workmanship, quality and labeling.
