Job summary

Lactalis Australia is seeking a dedicated Production Coordinator to join our Harvey Fresh manufacturing team in WA, reporting to the Production Manager of the UHT & ESL Milk department. The role oversees hour-to-hour production activities, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating production on a shift basis, maintaining HACCP/GMP compliance, and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in UHT and ESL milk production is essential.
• Degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science or related field.
• Leadership skills and ability to drive results.
• Strong organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production operations on a shift basis, to meet demand and efficiency targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP).
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Ensure timely and accurate production confirmation data entry into SAP while identifying and investigate inconsistencies.
• Coordinate and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching and feedback.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.
