Job summary

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale operations in Western Australia. Based at the Harvey Industrial Factory, you will partner with site leaders to drive performance, employee engagement and strategic HR initiatives across the two sites.

You will lead HR processes, manage ER and IR matters, coach leaders on performance and handle Enterprise Agreement negotiations, while fostering a high-engagement culture aligned with Lactalis values.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR professional with ER and IR expertise.
• Experience in HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR, ER and IR matters.
• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement.
• Liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
• Engage with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site
• Proactively develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement improvement initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team, partnering with leaders and employees across our Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites to drive business performance and foster a high-engagement culture.

Based at our Industrial Factory in Harvey, and reporting to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, you will partner with leaders and employees to deliver high impact HR and IR solutions that drive business performance and foster a culture aligned to Lactalis values.

This is a true business partnering role, providing expert advice and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while leading strategic HR initiatives, employee relations matters and industrial negotiations. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers and employees, helping build leadership capability and create a positive and engaged workforce.

About You

You are a hands-on HR professional with strong ER and IR expertise who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and influencing positive people outcomes. You will bring:

• Experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex ER and IR matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
