Job summary

Lactalis Australia is seeking a hands-on Logistics and Distribution Coordinator based in Forrestdale, WA. You will lead a warehouse team of 8, coordinate daily shift operations, and ensure on-time service while upholding safety, quality and efficiency.

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will drive customer satisfaction, staff training, and continuous improvement within a large dairy集团. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work and access to employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG distribution is highly advantageous.
• Experience working in Cold Rooms is highly desirable.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership to guide, mentor and support staff.
• Strong focus on communication and customer service.
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift operations and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver on-time, in-full customer service and dispatch performance.
• Manage labour resources and workforce coverage across shifts.
• Lead performance, training, and communication through toolbox talks and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and company procedures.
• Monitor inventory, reporting, and operational performance to meet service and budget targets.

About the Opportunity

Based in Forrestdale, Western Australia, a new rare and exciting opportunity is available for a hands onLogistics and Distribution Coordinatorto join our team.

Reporting to the DC Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the logistics team on shift.

With leadership, proactivity and energy, you need to make sure that customer service is delivered whilst ensuring safety, quality and efficiency is met.
