Job summary

Byford Equipment in Moama, NSW, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will coordinate with the Production Planner and Repairs Scheduler, manage job notes, and ensure information flows to the shop floor.

This full-time role suits an organised, reliable, detail-focused person who thrives in a busy environment and is comfortable on the production floor. Training will be provided, and there are opportunities to learn and grow within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with vehicle arrivals by taking photographs and recording VINs, registration details and ID plate information.
  • Take photographs of trailers and identify areas requiring repair or attention when required.
  • Create Sales Orders and Jobs and ensure job notes, documentation and relevant information are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare job folders and binders for upcoming builds, including organising the information provided, assembling the folders and ensuring they are delivered to the production floor before the next build commences.
  • Assist with scanning, filing and maintaining production and repair records.
  • Keep production and repair documentation organised, accurate and up to date.
  • Provide general administrative and practical support to the Production Planner and Repairs Scheduler as required.
  • Assist with other production administration tasks as required to help ensure the workshop operates smoothly.

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team in a full-time position.

Working closely with our Production Planner and Repairs Scheduler, you will provide coordination and administrative support across production, repairs and general workshop activities.

This is a hands-on and varied role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, detail-focused and enjoys keeping things moving and making sure the right information is available at the right time.
