Job summary

Pedders Suspension & Brakes is seeking a dedicated full-time Production Operator to support the manufacture and assembly of automotive parts with electronic components. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to contribute to product delivery and business growth.

You will work Mon-Fri with no weekend work and may have overtime for additional pay. Join a family-owned business with a positive culture, onsite parking, and opportunities for training and progression across our manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic or production assembly.
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality guidelines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Manual dexterity for precise assembly and testing.

• Good teamwork and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and production of automotive parts and electronic components.
• Operate production, overmoulding, potting, testing and related equipment safely per instructions.
• Perform quality checks to meet defined standards and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production, testing and inventory records; report issues.
• Support goods receiving, packaging and dispatch to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment (WHS).
• Collaborate with team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a dedicated full time Production Operator to support the manufacture and assembly of high-quality automotive parts with electronic components. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the delivery of innovative products and the ongoing growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and production of automotive parts and electronic components to required specifications.
• Operate production, overmoulding, potting, testing and related equipment safely and in accordance with work instructions.
• Conduct quality checks, testing and inspections to ensure products meet defined standards and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production, testing and inventory records, reporting stock shortages and production issues as required.
• Support goods receiving, packaging and dispatch activities to ensure efficient workflow and customer delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment while adhering to all quality, environmental and WHS requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and a positive workplace culture.

What You Bring To The Team

• Previous experience in electronic assembly, production assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, production guidelines, quality requirements and testing procedures.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to safely perform detailed assembly, inspection and routine testing tasks requiring visual accuracy, with reasonable adjustments considered where applicable.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to complete assembly and handling tasks safely and accurately.
• Ability to accurately record numerical data and production/testing information in accordance with work instructions.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively.
