Job summary

TechnologyOne is seeking a Product Trainer to create exceptional learning experiences and enable customers and internal teams to adopt our SaaS solutions. You will design, deliver and continuously improve practical training that translates Higher Education processes into confident university usage.

You will collaborate with Product and Customer success teams, build role-based outcomes, and leverage modern learning technologies to maximise product adoption and measurable business impact across

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in Training and Assessment or Learning Design.
  • Experience designing and delivering training for Higher Education or SaaS products.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering engaging learning experiences across TechnologyOne products.
  • Partner with Product teams to develop training aligned to new and existing functionality.
  • Translating Higher Education business processes and customer needs into practical, learner-centred training experiences.
  • Developing learning content reflecting real university operations and enabling learners to apply knowledge in authentic workplace situations.
  • Configure and maintain training environments using realistic data and scenarios.
  • Reviewing learner feedback, training outcomes and adoption insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
  • Supporting product releases and business initiatives through the development of learning assets, resources and enablement materials.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our digital-first learning strategy, leveraging modern learning technologies, tools and methodologies to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Higher Education sector, with an understanding of university business processes and operations.

Job description

We are seeking a Product Trainer who is passionate about creating exceptional learning experiences and helping customers realise the full value of TechnologyOne's solutions.

As a Product Trainer, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling customers and internal teams to confidently adopt and use our products. You'll combine your expertise in learning, technology and the Higher Education business processes to design and deliver engaging training programs that build capability, drive product adoption and support customer success.

What you'll be doing …

  • Experience working with ERP solutions or enterprise software platforms, ideally including TechnologyOne systems.
  • A passion for creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to design structured learning outcomes and assessments for diverse learner groups
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and influence positive outcomes.
  • A proactive mindset focused on improving training effectiveness, user adoption, and learning outcomes.
  • Willingness to work hands‑on with systems to build deep product expertise and real‑world context.
  • Confidence working hands‑on with technology to develop product expertise and create authentic learning experiences.
  • Formal qualification in Training and Assessment or Learning Design
  • Experience working within a university, tertiary education provider, or Higher Education software environment.
  • Knowledge of learning design principles, instructional methodologies, and blended learning approaches
  • Exposure to SaaS product training or customer enablement environments
